Bio Montel Douglas (born 8 May 1996) is a British actor, writer and faciltatior from Elephant & Castle, London. He discovered his passion for acting whilst training at Identity Drama School. He then later went on to graduate from St Mary's University Twickenham in 2018. There he attained a 1st class BA Honours degree in Acting. Montel made his television debut as a guest, in CBS drama series Ransom (2017). He can be seen in Code 404 ( SKY, 2020) & Casualty ( BBC, 2021) Montel Douglas is of Jamaican descent Montel has developed into a stage & screen actor using his outstanding talent, work ethic, determination, natural charm and energetic prowess. Montel first embarked on to stage in 2011 in CHATHAM AVENUE directed by Corrine Micallef at National Theatre Studio; ICH BIN FAUST directed by Victoria Evaristo, ME AND MY FRIEND directed by Tobi Bakare, THE FRONTLINE and MACBETH directed by Julie Saunders, REVOLT. SHE SAID.REVOLT AGAIN. directed by Glynne Steele. Now signed with Simon & How Associates. His professional debut was in Shebeen, directed by Matthew Xia. When not acting, Montel leads youth projects with various of theatres in London such as Almeida Theatre, Bush theatre and Company 3. Montel is a self taught beatboxer. He has excellent movement skills and is highly skilled in body-poping and street-dance. He hopes to be able to incorporate his movement skills into his acting career. He speaks English* and Patois.
